Sex Offense - Known
University Police received a third party report of a sexual assault at 12:15 p.m. on February 15, 2022. The reported assault occurred at approximately 12:00 a.m. on February 6, 2022 in East Halls complex. The East Halls complex is in the north eastern portion of campus, adjacent to Curtin Road and Bigler Road. The victim, a student, reported being sexually assaulted by a known person.
The incident reportedly occurred in the East Halls complex. The East Halls complex is located in the north eastern portion of campus, adjacent to the Curtin Road and Bigler Road.

- Get verbal consent from your partner, and don't assume you know what the other person wants.
- Perpetrators are responsible for sexual assaults. Perpetrators take advantage of vulnerability and seek opportunities to commit sexual assaults.
- Sexual Assault is a second degree felony in the state of PA. Sentencing can include up to 10 years in prison, fines, and psychiatric treatment.
It can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the University community. It is the duty of the administration to warn of possible 'dangerous conditions' on or near the campus, and at affiliate organizations off campus; an 'affirmative duty' exists to warn persons associated with the University of possible peril at the hands of some third party or parties.
